Surrender. Release. Regulate.
It’s no surprise that I’m passionate about teaching others how to support their nervous system and improve their mood.
Through my own journey, I discovered the transformative power of cold water therapy. My relationship with cold immersion has been life-changing. The cold water creates a unique opportunity to access emotions we often struggle to tap into in daily life. It encourages us to connect with our feelings, acknowledge them, release them, and move forward. Cold immersion not only supports emotional release but also promotes mental health and strengthens the nervous system.
Since incorporating cold immersion into my routine, I’ve learned how to better regulate my mood and mental state. This therapy activates the body’s natural healing abilities. Regular cold water exposure engages the sympathetic nervous system—the system responsible for the fight-or-flight response—while reducing its overactivation. Studies even show that just 11 minutes of cold water immersion per week can increase dopamine levels by 250%.
Cold immersion has taught me so much, and I hope it can do the same for you.
